How Whisky Ottawa – Signature Series works

We design our whisky experience packages to your requirements. You may have specific requests when it comes to the whiskies you would like to introduce to your clients. Being a person with whisky knowledge or no whisky knowledge at all we will work with you to create a whisky tutoring experience for a whisky food pairing dinner evening that your clients and colleagues will appreciate and speak of to their friends.

Our Whisky Ottawa – Signature Series team consists of highly recognized Whisky Ambassadors and experienced event producers. We tailor each program to your requirements. We start with a program consult. This process allows you to have a full understanding of the different options that could be involved with developing a whisky experience for your clients.

Whisky Dinner (approximate 2 to 3 hours)

Once we have determined the parameters of your whisky experience dinner we move forward with the development of your event. From selecting your venue, reviewing the whiskies and foods that will be paired with, ensuring all proper liquor licenses are in place, creating invitations and whisky placemats, to presenting a fun filled evening of education and whisky experience that will be enjoyed by all.

When you start your evening with a whisky cocktail.  Your Whisky Ambassador will entertain your guests with not only how the whisky pairs with the food and he'll also go through the history of the different whiskies and the regions they come from. A whisky dinner could have 4 to 6 courses of both food and whisky.

Whisky tutoring (approximate 1 to 1 1/2 hours)

Once we have determined the parameters of your whisky tutoring experience our Whisky Ottawa – Signature Series team will follow the same program development process as the Whisky Dinner.

Though the whisky tutoring evening is shorter than a dinner you would also start this evening with a whisky cocktail. Our Whisky Ambassador will entertain and educate your guests. Everyone will learn how to understand whisky, how it's been developed over the years and distilled to perfection, what creates the different flavors and colors and of course how it tastes!

Your event:

• We start with a consult, determine your goals, with Whisky Ambassador
• Program design,
• Select the whisky menu with Whisky Ambassador, 
• Special Occasion Permits (SOP) when required,
• Secure and/or work with a venue,
• Create a floor plan,
• Create placemats,
• Pick up whisky, whisky glasses, placemats etc.
• Set up room,
• Opening whisky cocktail,
• Whisky Ambassador presents the program,

Options:

• Create invitations, mailed or emailed (if desired)
• Management of guest lists (if desired)
• Logoed Glencairn whisky glass sets, a take home gift, nice touch! (if desired),
